William Lowery publishes Florida Salvage Yards for Sunnyvale Management, a Florida local-marketing company that builds websites for junk car buyers and towing operators across Central and South Florida. The directory grew out of that work: every yard in the state, with the facts a seller needs before the call, each listing compiled from the business's own website and marked with what the yard buys, whether towing is free and whether it takes cars without a title. William reviews every claim by hand.
Why this directory exists
I started this directory because nobody had put Florida's junk car trade on one page. Through Sunnyvale Management I have spent years building websites for junk car buyers and towing operators around Orlando, Tampa and the coast, and the same question came up on every call: which yards actually buy cars, which tow for free, and which will take a car when the title is lost. The answers were scattered across hundreds of small websites.
So we read them. Every yard, wrecker and junk dealer in the state with a Google listing is here, and the services on each listing come from the business's own pages, not from a form it filled in or a fee it paid. When a yard says nothing about towing or titles, the listing says so. If a listing is yours and it is wrong, claim it and I will fix it myself.
How listings are vetted
Every listing started as a Google Maps business in one of four categories: junkyard, salvage yard, auto wrecker or junk dealer. We kept the ones that are open, have at least one Google review and were updated in the last year, merged duplicates by phone and address, and kept tow companies and other trades that carry one of those labels only when their own website shows they buy junk cars.
We then read each yard's website. Free towing, same-day pickup, no-title purchases, cash at pickup, used parts and self-service rows are marked only when the business states them on its own pages; when a site says nothing, the listing says "no information yet" rather than guessing. Ratings are Google's. We do not verify licenses, insurance or prices, and no listing is an endorsement. Owners can claim and correct a listing for free, and a person checks every claim before anything changes.
Right now that is 555 junkyards and salvage yards in 45 Florida cities, last refreshed 2026-10-21.
Owners can claim their listing for free. Every claim is checked by a person: a real local business, a matching email domain or a call to the number on the Google listing. Paid placements are marked as featured, premium or best-of wherever they appear.
